Human Nature
We present a series of photos showing humans in the company of nature and assimilated in nature. Humans in almost ritualized scenarios, that are usually associated with daily and domestic pursuits. However, these pursuits are transferred to and confronted with nature. Because of their misplacement they become absurd and surreal in the interplay and challenge with nature. The Project attempts to make a visual remark on man's alienation from nature, as it is progressively being suppressed in cities, by houses and by infrastructure. The steadily increasing containment and control of the original, natural world continues proportionally with modern man's loss of awareness of time and place.
